A Private Paradise: CasasNaAreia

Located in Alentejo, Portugal, CasasNaAreia is an amazing beach-like cottage that takes old masonry buildings and turns them into a contemporary resort.

With only four double bedrooms, the small retreat is ideal for romantic getaways or small, private events.

The best part of it is probably the sand floors that allow you to stay barefoot and relaxed the entier time you’re there (just make sure you wash them before getting into bed!).

Between the sandy floors and the Sado estuary views, you’d never know that you weren’t at the beach. You’re close enough, though: the beach is a 20-minute bike ride away, or 5 minutes by car.
